“Yarran crafts admirable wines offering real value, none more than this thirst-slaking dry, highly attractive rose. The colour is onion skin to pale pink rather than garish. The nose, crushed strawberry, jasmine and Mediterranean allusions. The wine rides along a vein of skinsy crunch and further textural detail following a fermentation kicked off by wild yeast, partly in barrel, some of it new. Stirring has imparted breadth and a gravitas belying the price.” 93 Points, James Halliday
“Light salmon-pink colour with a savoury, subdued but appealing bouquet. The palate is light and soft, simple and slightly sweet, with a green apple taste which lingers, and slight grip. An eccentric style, but it works OK.” Huon Hooke
